How to Choose Proportions for a Classic Facade
Golden ratio, window rhythm and why 3.4m ceilings change everything…
Read soon →ClassicDom is a design atelier and estate curator for lovers of enduring beauty. We restore manor houses, craft neoclassical interiors, and curate classic homes that never go out of style — from Georgian symmetry to Mediterranean warmth.
Georgian facade, hand-cut limestone, interiors in lime plaster & oak. See heritage case study.
View case →Founded in 1998, ClassicDom began as a small joinery restoring colonial porches. Today we are a full atelier: architects, interior designers, landscape artists and master craftsmen united by one belief — true luxury is proportion, material honesty and quiet grandeur.
We don't chase minimalism or maximalism. We study Palladio, Adam, and vernacular farmhouses. We source reclaimed oak, Carrara marble, handmade tiles and forged brass. Every ClassicDom home is built to be inherited — not renovated every five years.
Solid oak, natural stone, lime plaster, brass — no veneer illusions.
Golden ratio facades, 3.4m ceilings, aligned enfilades.
Hidden climate, acoustic, smart-home systems behind classic walls.
Restoration over demolition. 72% reclaimed materials.

Whether you dream of a countryside manor, a coastal villa or a city townhouse — each collection balances historic language with contemporary life.

Urban classicism: high ceilings, panelled walls, marble halls, mews gardens.
ENQUIRE →65% of our work is restoration: from 18th-century farmhouses to 1930s classic villas. We document, dismantle, restore and rebuild — preserving soul while upgrading structure.
We study archives, old plans and paint layers to recover original colors and details.
Lime foundations, timber frames and roofs reinforced with traditional techniques.
Stucco moldings recast, parquet rewoven, frescoes and murals restored by hand.
Underfloor heating, hidden lighting and acoustics — invisible modernity.
A ClassicDom cornice is not styrofoam — it's 7 layers of lime plaster pulled on-site. A door is 48kg solid oak with hand-forged hinges that close with a soft thunk.
